We are pleased to offer contemporary Imari-ware.  Potters, artists, and kilns of the Arita region of Japan still produce highest quality porcelain tableware for both Asian and Western tastes. Today’s producers in this area are building on 400 years of tradition and culture, craft and techniques, to address contemporary living.

 

While we stock all the Japanese antique porcelains and pottery in our collection, we sell contemporary items by ordering directly from the source.  We have relationships with over thirty kilns in the Arita region that produce modern tableware for homes and restaurants.  

Like what you see? We would gladly process your inquiries and have them shipped to your door. These products are (a) all lead-free; and (b) dishwasher safe except as occasionally may be noted by the producer. Our producers regularly sell to satisfied household and restaurant customers in Japan and elsewhere.

You start the process by sending us your INQUIRY.  For cups, saucers, plates and bowls, a minimum ordering quantity of six (6) each applies.  For larger serving pieces or vases, please inquire.  We will submit back to you a PROPOSAL price, delivered to your door based on Japan EMS postal service. Other delivery options may be arranged at cost.
